Vanderbilt Quantum Initiative
Who Are We?
Founded in 2024, VQI was the first Vanderbilt organization uniquely dedicated to quantum science and engineering. We maintain a collaborative environment dedicated to complex design projects, hands-on academic research, various educational opportunities, and high achievement in quantum hackathons worldwide.
CubeSat
In a multidisciplinary effort, our flagship project entails the design and deployment of a miniature satellite equipped with a cutting edge quantum communication system. VQI members will be selected to contribute to the project based on a competitive internal deliberation process.
